The Australian Commonwealth or State Governments do not provide any funding to start this school. The governments do provide yearly funding to run non-government schools once they are established. Therefore, our community is expected to raise enough funds to purchase land and build initial buildings for our school.

We are thankful to the entire community as we have so far raised over $4M. We would need to raise further donations in 2018 and 2019 to have all approvals to build the facilities. Once we have all approvals we should be able to borrow more money. After starting the operations, we would become to secure some government funding and all surpluses from Gurdwara sahib will also be invested in the school. We also plan to sell a portion of our land to raise some funds. It is felt that with the blessings of our Guru Sahib and Sangat we are now more confident to bring this project to fruition. We are now well past all previous delays and are now on a firm footing. We request all families to make a one-off donation of at least $5,000 (or more, if you can afford) to support this generational changing project. Once these facilities are built they will be used by the community for centuries to come. All donations are fully tax deductible in Australia.

This will be the first Sikh school in Australia, we already have 19 Jewish, 39 Islamic and 1700 Christian schools in Australia. This is a project with a great vision. We will make all our efforts for our students to become high achievers in the coming years and a contributing member of the society. We will endeavor to make them practice their profession while respecting their parents and elders, following the teachings of our Gurus with Bani and Bana in their daily lives.

This will be an ultra-modern state-of-the-art facility with the latest technology. Highest academic achievement, spirituality and physical strength are our three mottos as displayed in the school logo. It requires an initial investment by the community to realise this great dream.
