Sikhs have fought in both World Wars with the Allied troops. The Sikh regiments were instrumental in valiantly defeating the Nazis. Veterans from Sikh Regiments have been proudly marching on ANZAC day parade every year. Sikhs sacrificed their lives in the trenches of Gallipoli alongside Australian diggers.
